| Data East (USA) | Sold | | This is what I have done to restore machine Stripped Playfield of all screws, posts plastics. Polished all screws, posts and nuts on buffer. Had Stainless Steel ramp welded. Polished rust off Habitrails. Removed and cleaned under playfield trough. Replaced all rubber on playfield. Replaced micro switches for laser kicker, out lane and ball shooter lane Removed and cleaned pop up target assembly. Removed cleaned and polished power scoop kick back assemblies. Removed cleaned and refitted correctly ball Launch assembly. Removed cleaned and refitted both slingshot assemblies Replaced kicker lever assembly and striker ring. Removed all under playfield lamp boards and cleaned and reflowed solder. Reflowed solder on under playfield relay boards. Re-levelled Obi One Kenobi Playfield insert and created new graphic. Replaced all broken plastics. Repaired Death Star Dome with Glass Coat. Resprayed R2D2 head. Replaced all non-functioning lamps. Replaced pop bumper caps, spacers, bodies and wafers. Fitted LED lamps to pop bumpers. Polished playfield. Repaired damaged wood area around scoop holes. Fitted Cliffy protectors. Rebuild flippers, replaced flipper coil. Repaired Solid state flipper board replaced SCR, transistors and diodes. Replaced laser kicker coil, replaced Tip36C Transistor for laser kicker. Repaired Death star target, replaced death start target guide plastic. Replaced all fuse clips on PPB board, burnt rev 1.04 Rom for MPU board. Repaired General Illumination connection on PPB board. Replaced Dot Matrix Display. Resprayed Cabinet door, side rails and legs. Replaced Leg leveller bolts. Repaired slam tilt switch. Replaced Vertical Up Kicker shaft and cup. Replaced all incorrect screws or nuts that were found. Fitted correct amount of screws to PCB’s in backboard. Repainted Cabinet rear sides and front, replaced cabinet gliders and stickers. Cleaned , vacuumed and repainted inside cabinet. Reinforced sling shot plastics with under plastic lexan. |
