I get a lot of requests asking if I'd consider selling it or "what's my never price" and the answer will remain no so please do not bother. 12/2022: Shopped out, added soft LED's, re-painted cabinet removing splits and such. And flippers rebuilt. |

| Data East (USA) | Set up, plays! | Maybe | I bought this a week before Force Awakens Came out (12/6/2015). It's a HUO that was bought by a husband and wife couple brand new in 93. They bought it to put in a game room for their kids (in 1993) but it was rarely played. When I got it from them the front cabinet door was never opened, in fact the sellers had no pinball knowledge and never knew it opened. After drilling the lock out and opened it, it was definitely like a time capsule. All the accessories were in it brand new and sealed including the topper. According to the wife the game hadn't been turned on in 10 years. It looked inside and out like it was right off the factory floor. Fortunately there were no batteries installed for the high score so there was no leakage. After wax polishing the playfield, replacing the balls, rubbers and adding some LED's I had something I never thought I'd own! Update 12/30/2022: Changed to "Maybe" and added pictures from 2015 from when first drilled open the unit. It had never been opened from when it was manufactured. I would consider a trade for or towards a Funhouse (condition pending) but you have to realize this is the nicest Star Wars DE out there I'm Sure. Always a smoke free home and when I bought it it had 10 plays on it. It's been well cared for in my home with limited plays. The only thing I upgraded since my initial posting was the software. The original code writer had passed away and an engineer friend finished it. The initial release game play doesn't make much sense but with the upgrade it does. And I as of 12/9/2022 replaced was the power on / off switch which they used a cheap plastic threaded switch which the thread / nut portion cracked. I replaced it with an all metal version. |
