ALADDIN'S CASTLE Bally (USA)Set up, plays!Maybe
APOLLO Williams (USA)Set up, plays!MaybeProbably paid too much for this game considering its condition. Fair amount of wear and planking, some backglass paint loss, and needed a full mechanical restore. The plastics are missing most of the reds in them...I am on the hunt for a new set. Fun game
BUCKAROO Gottlieb (USA)Set up, plays!NeverWhen I bought this game it was in sad shape. The entire cabinet was painted gloss black, the playfield was beyond filthy, rotted rubbers, cracked backglass, and barely started up. The cowboy wouldn't even spin when kicked. After trying everything I wound up getting most of the black off with a razor blade and strong duct tape (6 hours of my life I will never get back!) The playfield turned out to be AMAZING underneath the protective crud, practically no wear at all! Plays awesome, but a tough game to master.
DOUBLE-SHUFFLE Gottlieb (USA)Set up, plays!NeverPurchased from the Silverman auction in rough shape...legs were termite infested, no backglass, playfield was filthy and everything rubber completely rotted. Cleaned up nicely and works perfectly now. 911 made in 1949. I was given a so-so backglass (for free!) by another bidder who bought it in a lot of other backglasses. Auction house wouldn't tell me who it was, but if you are reading this, Thanks!
GLOBE TROTTER Gottlieb (USA)Set up, plays!Would tradeSomeone painted varnish on the playfield which was a lot of fun to remove. At the same time they thought it would be a great idea to sand the artwork off the cabinet and varnish that as well. The stencil looks pretty complicated so I am hesitant to give it a try at replicating it. Fun player. 910 made in 1951.
HAPPY GO LUCKY Gottlieb (USA)Set up, plays!NeverReally fun and pretty game with four kickers and two pop bumpers in the upper playfield, and a ball save gate between the flippers. 600 made in 1951. Should be on wood legs, which I will eventually get around to refinishing and installing. Previous owner had slathered varnish over the playfield while it was populated, which took a lot of effort to remove without destroying anything else.
ICE REVUE Gottlieb (USA)In storage, waiting for restorationMaybe
JUMPING JACK Gottlieb (USA)Set up, plays!MaybeAddicting creepy clown drop targets!
JUNGLE QUEEN Gottlieb (USA)In storage, waiting for restorationMaybe
MIBS Gottlieb (USA)In storage, waiting for restorationMaybeNeeds resto
OLYMPICS Gottlieb (USA)Set up, plays!NeverLove this game...tough one to beat!
OUT OF SIGHT Gottlieb (USA)In storage, waiting for restorationMaybe
QUARTETTE Gottlieb (USA)Set up, plays!NeverMultiple strategies to win makes this one a lot of fun.
RACE TIME Gottlieb (USA)Set up, plays!Would tradePretty, challenging game. Cabinet was sanded down by someone else. Perfect playfield, backglass is in so-so condition
RACK-A-BALL Gottlieb (USA)Set up, plays!Maybe
ROYAL GUARD Gottlieb (USA)Set up, plays!NeverWhen I bought this game I wasn't sure about the theme but it has grown on me. One of my favorite players now!
SHOW BOAT Gottlieb (USA)In storage, waiting for restorationMaybe
SING ALONG Gottlieb (USA)Set up, plays!NeverBought this game in horrible shape. Cabinet had a vinyl decal covering it, which pulled off a second paint job and the original paint when I pulled it off. My first and only cab repaint...I like original, but this one was shot. It came out pretty nice. The playfield had some touchups and wear, but it plays great after a complete mechanical resto. Could use a new backglass. One of my favorites!
SUNSHINE Gottlieb (USA)Set up, plays!Never
THORO BRED Gottlieb (USA)Set up, plays!NeverVery nice playfield and backglass, very nice cabinet with lots of names, dates, and high scores scribbled on it...which I wouldn't dream of cleaning off. Plays fast but not much strategy to it...a very random game requiring luck for a high score.
TROPIC ISLE Gottlieb (USA)Set up, plays!Maybe
WORLD CHAMP Gottlieb (USA)Set up, plays!NeverBought this game in terrible condition with lots of playfield wear, horrible plastics, but a near perfect backglass. Cabinet was not too bad either. Game had sat unused for 20+ years without use in a smoker's home and would not power up and when it finally did it blew fuses. I scrubbed the game inside and out for days and it still occasionally gives off a whiff of cigarette smoke. Several replaced coils later and everything rebuilt and it plays better than new. One of my favorite woodrails that I (probably) would never sell.
