ac70 TorontoCanadaFurnace repair man found this one in a basement. The original owner had it since 1978 and told him to take it away with the old furnace. Furnace guy flipped it to me for some quick cash. It was in good cosmetic shape all around. The cabinet was solid and paint decent. The playing field cleaned up well and look spectacular now. The internal mechanicals needed some attention but with under 7000 plays on the meter once tracked down the rest of the contacts functioned like new. Fun game that has neat extra ball feature that is good for multi-player competition. That said, I am more a single player game person do not see this machine staying in my collection for long.

bally.se  HägerstenSwedenThis was the first Target Alpha, of two, that I bought this year 1994. I bought it because I love droptargets, and Target Alpha has 15 of them.
bally.se  HägerstenSwedenThis was the second TA game that I bought in 1994. I restored it and took it with me for my close friend mike's wedding (Mike who also was the second guitarplayer in our band), I owed him some money and he said bring me a nice pinball game instead of the money. So I did. So far I brought pinball games to two weddings, both Jonas, our drummer and Mike, our former second guitarplayer. There's something about bandmembers, pinballgames and weddings, that goes so well together.
bally.se  HägerstenSwedenMy third TA game, I sold this one to a friend in the gaming business.

bribo13  Ortonville, MIUSAThis is my very first pin, I bought this one at auction in 1981 for $175.00. it has been moved many times from place to place over the years, The mechanics and the play field are perfect, the cabinet is still sharp. but sadly all the years the temperature changes from being stored in a garage for a few years have taken their toll on the Back glass, paint loss and flaking are now very visible. I still play it all the time, plays great, a fun old friend.

shutyertrap  La habra, CAUSAJust picked up this 1 owner machine that has sat in the same location for the past 45 years. Backglass is perfect, interior is spotless, thing looks practically brand new. Mild cupping on a few inserts, exterior cab as a few very minor scrapes on the edge of backbox. All drop targets and standups look amazing. The sling plastics are both broken just at the very tips closest to flippers. All in all, I can't believe an EM can look this good! Shopped the machine myself, game functions great. Cleaned, waxed, replaced all posts to clear, replaced opaque lane guides with translucent, rubber is now translucent silicone, and purple flipper rings. So who would like this instead of their modern STERN??
silverballdfw  Plano, TXUSAPurchased as a non working project with a filthy play field. Was left in a convene store when the store closed. Is now 100% working and has been shopped. Beatific back glass, nice play field and still need to clean the cabinet.

superjackpot  MississaugaCanadaGorgeous PF! Beautifully restored and clearcoated. Yellow dot coils on main flippers. This game is set to a steep slope and it plays fast. More fun than I remember when I played it on location all those years ago.
superphiljr  Wilmington, NCUSABG- excellent, PF- very good, cabinet- very good. just needs to be shopped. missing coin mech's on coin door, but i have 2 mech's on spare door(damage on front of spare door). overall, machine in great condition. even still had all original paperwork inside cabinet.( extra instruction cards, score cards, schematics, set-up instructions, etc...)
surfchamp  Clarion, PAUSAWriting this the night of 10/30/15 and picking up the morning of 10/31/15. Bought for $500 dollars sight unseen off of Craigslist. Guy is selling it to help pay for an outdoor wood-burner, his wife said it needed to go to help defray some of the cost of the furnace. How many of us I wonder own a machine that has a similar story behind it! He said he bought it about ten years ago and hadn't played it in a couple years, worked perfect last time it was played. Says it won't set up for more than one player now and won't kick the ball out, other than that still works good. Backglass is supposed to be perfect except for the white around the numbers have some cracks in them. Good playfield and plastics plus the guy bought a new set of rubbers for it. The guy described it over the phone and I told him sold. As a side note, when I told my wife just tonight I was buying it she didn't even flinch. I guess 10 was my magic number where buying another pin became a non-event! I'll find out tomorrow morning if it was a good buy or a bad one............ Well it's home, it's very dirty and needs sorting out but I'm very pleased with the machine! The backglass is pretty nice, the plastics are very good, the cabinet is collector quality and the playfield is pretty decent. 84,798 plays on the counter. At some point by a previous owner it had a bunch of Frankenstein wiring done to the playfield, including I think bypassing the bonus unit altogether. My son has the high score on 5-ball mode which is where I have it set for now at (52,800) with drop targets scoring 500 points. That score may sound low but is much harder than it sounds the way it is scoring...........Update on 1/15/16, nearing 1000 plays (85,726) since picking it up and it's starting to play pretty good. Converted all the bulbs to LED's and put super bands on the flippers. Only into the machine for about $600 dollars and it's my second favorite machine already. Switched it over to 3-ball mode for good and my son immediately set the new high score (137,510). The drop targets score 2000 points set on three ball mode. With the exception of the bonus unit it is playing at about 98% and I'm quite pleased overall. I have done very little except play it again and again and many of the little things have sorted themselves out on their own. I think for now I'm not going to worry about getting the bonus unit fixed, it is a challenge to get a good score without adding bonus points at the end of each ball. We got used to no bonus points on Mini-Cycle and kind of like the challenge it presents......Update on 4/23/16. Moved to my daughter & son-in-law's house today, today is their first day of pinball ownership!!!!
