Flipper assembly completely redone including coils. Original WPC boards (same serial). Cables and lighting connectors replaced where necessary with quality components (original Molex with trifurcon pins). Bulbs replaced with quality LEDs (Comet) and chosen with taste. Coin door working and restored. New legs and feet. New playfield glass. New slot machine reinforced standup target. Optos including boards revisioned or replaced. Gumballs added, lots of LEDs but not full set probably 80% LED. AA battery mod to keep the circuit board from any possible acidic leaks (I forgot the name of them but I bought them from a fellow, so batteries sit on bottom of the translite cabinet) annually replaced them anyways.  Light up pyramid topper transparent with action synced lighting effects. Set it up, plays amazing but had a weird issue of the upper flippers shutting down during Powerball Multiball and LITZ. Bay78 burned a copy of 9.4HC ROM which cleared up the issue. Cabinet was stripped, repaired, filled, painted and new silk screened artwork was applied. Clock was rebuilt mechanically and electronically, much of the mechanical devices are rebuilt including all flippers, pop bumpers, kickers, etc. Gumball was disassembled and cleaned. Replaced several plastics and added some mods. Also added new mirrored back-glass from CPR, new speaker panel, new colour DMD display, new upgraded speakers, new coin door, new tempered glass, some switches and proximity sensors, two new stainless scoops (upgraded design) new cashbox and a few solenoids to replace incorrect ones. All electronics restored with new 10,000 hour capacitors. All wires and connectors cleaned and new coil wrappers added. This machine looks brand new and plays perfectly. I have been lucky to own this great game for a long time. I recently traded it to a fellow collector for 2 vintage EM arcade games. While I'm sure that I will miss it, it's going to a collector who will fully appreciate its beauty and who has helped me in this hobby. It's a sample game (1 of about 200) with factory-drilled 3rd magnet hole (magnet itself is installed), prototype left spiral sign & prototype right sign. Manufacturing date is 3/26/93. Regular production TZ games began on 4/1/93. Naturally, the various other sample variations include the absence of the "flip here" instruction on the upper playfield, different colored lock insert, different color cabinet backbox graphic, etc. I have my TZ loaded with mods. I particularly like the Element 13 mods. I removed the sample gumball sign with sticker and replaced it with an actual prototype sign. Indeed, the left spiral sign is a prototype as well, which was eliminated with the samples and production games. Note the sample white (as opposed to yellow production) door color scheme on the head. I passed on purchasing an actual TZ prototype many years ago and kicked myself for doing so, until I found this sample TZ. I'm comfortable modding the sample whereas I would have left the prototype intact. Mezelmods cool mod, which dispenses an actual gum ball through the coin return slot, was purchased but not installed, prior to this trade. Great condition game.
